Chelsea star attacking midfielder Eden Hazard has apparently agreed to join Real Madrid for a fee believed to be £32 million.

The Belgium international has struggled all season at Chelsea and is a shadow of the player that won last year’s PFA Player of the Year award during the Blues Premier League winning season.

The 25-year-old has now not scored a goal in the Premier League since April of 2015 and has had to endure the wrath of the Chelsea faithful for his listless performances at Stamford Bridge.

Now following Chelsea’s poor season, that has seen them fire manager Jose Mourinho, and miss out on any chance of playing Champions League football next season, Hazard is being heavily tipped to leave the club in the summer as Italian trainer Antonio Conte prepares to take charge.

And according to Spanish sports news outlet OK Diario, Real Madrid have now beaten the French champions Paris Saint-Germain to Hazard’s signature.

The reports goes on to say that the Belgium international has agreed terms ahead of a summer switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Madrid trainer Zinedine Zidane has had his eye on the Chelsea star for some time now, saying last season: “After Messi and Ronaldo, Hazard is my favourite player. It is spectacular to see him play.”
