Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that he does not think he will be doing any business during the January transfer window , but is prepared to do so should the need arise.

The main worry for Mourinho appears to be the long-term fitness of lead goal scoring striker Diego Costa who is out for Chelsea’s Champions League clash with Slovenian side Maribor at Stamford Bridge Tuesday night.

Spanish international Costa has been hampered by a hamstring injury while the fitness of Andre Schurrle and midfielder John Mikel Obi are also in doubt.

Speaking about the situation just yesterday the Portuguese boss told talkSPORT: “We do not think about that (the window), that is a long time to go with November and December. Hopefully we don’t need it and don’t have problems. The window is there for people in trouble, for whatever reason, to cope with a difficult moment. Hopefully we do not need it.”
