Chelsea are looking to beat Liverpool to Partizan Belgrade’s 18-year-old attacking midfielder Lazar Markovic.
Former Chelsea boss Avram Grant, currently coaching Partizan, is understood to have recommended Markovic, who earned his first cap for Serbia in February.
Liverpool and Tottenham are also interested but Partizan want around £16million and would also like to have him back on loan.
