Chelsea Predicted Line-Up for PSG

Chelsea takes on Paris Saint-Germain tonight at Stamford Bridge in the second-leg of their last-16 Champions League match holding a slight advantage following the 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes back on February 17th, and when you look at the statistics you will find that the home team in the second leg wins the match 58% of the time following a 1-1 away draw with some decent value to be had Betbright’s UCL odds picking Chelsea to win at 10/11 just makes sense.

Chelsea has of course already won the trophy back in 2012, but there are players in the team today that are hungry for success including Cesc Fabregas who has never won it.

“We want to go through,” he told reporters on Tuesday. “We have to make it happen. We will not sit back and wait for them to come.

“We will try and create opportunities to score. They’re a fantastic side.”

“When we get one goal, we have to go for the second and after the second the third. That’s the only thing we can really improve,” he said.

“Hopefully we will have that killer instinct.”

Meanwhile we here at Soccer Transfers feel that Jose Mourinho will take a much more cautious approach and will have put the two Serbian enforcers Branislav Ivanovic and Nemanja Matic the first two names on his team sheet for tonight’s game.

Chelsea-PSG-Line-up

Goalkeeper
Thibaut Courtois should start in goal for the Blues with Mourinho knowing has a keeper of exceptional ability on the bench in Petr Cech.

Defence

The only question mark here will be in the ability of youngster Kurt Zouma to live up to the big match hype, which makes us think that despite the way he is developing, Mourinho will go for the experience of Gary Cahill to play alongside captain John Terry.

Midfield
Nemanja Matic returns to the Chelsea midfield after having not been seen recently due to a domestic ban, and alongside him will be Ramires with Fabregas playing a more advanced role looking to slip the ball through to Diego Costa.

Attack
Both Eden Hazard and Diego Costa are no-brainers here with Willian out on the wing which leaves Oscar once more on the Blues bench.
