Chelsea star Eden Hazard says he is paying no attention to the rumours linking him to French Champions Paris Saint-Germain, as his teammate Brazilian defender David Luiz prepares his £50 million move to the Parc des Princes.

Hazard knows of the talk linking him with PSG, but is more focused on playing for Belgium during this summer’s World Cup telling Sky Sports: “If you got to know me you’d know I’m not someone who is disturbed by it.

“Every year they say I’m everywhere. It’s part of the job.

“I focus on the World Cup, which is much more important than what is said in the papers.”

Reports that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho might be prepared to cut the young Belgium lose following comments he made after criticising the Portuguese managers tactics following the semi-final loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League have added to the speculation that Hazard might be on his way out.

When speaking about the rift German midfielder Andre Schurrle said: “The manager and the club know that Eden Hazard is a very talented player. I think we should not overestimate these things.

“Of course statements were published, but I believe Eden is very happy to be with Chelsea and Mourinho is happy to have him.

“Next season everything will be all right again.”
