Chelsea owner is ready to make Pep Guardiola his next manager

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has decided to take a look at all options available to him following the Blues dismal start to the season, and despite current manager Jose Mourinho’s commitment to turn things around at the club may wield the axe on the Portuguese tactician after having decided that the club needs to be taken in a different less confrontational direction.

The Russian billionaire has not only had to suffer the indignation of seeing last season’s title winning side lose four of their first nine league games but has also had to watch the 52-year-old manager have constant run ins with the English FA.

According to Spanish football new outlet Fichajes, Abramovich is a huge fan of former Barcelona and now Bayern Munich trainer Pep Guardiola and is willing to make the Catalan a tempting offer to move to Stamford Bridge rather than to the Etihad at the end of the season as is being predicted at present.

According to the Spanish report Mourinho still has time to turn his fortunes around at Chelsea due to the fact Guardiola would not leave Bayern till the end of the season, but with Abrahmovic’s patience running out Mourinho’s third season problems seem to be catching up with him fast.
