Despite having a £20 million bid knocked back for Everton and England international defender John Stones , Chelsea has not thrown the towel in yet, with Sky Sports reporting that the Blues are returning to Goodison Park with an increased offer for the 21-year-old.
Everton and their manager Roberto Martinez remain resolute in their determination to keep their young star on Merseyside, telling Chelsea he is not for sale at any price, and while we have heard this kind of rhetoric from selling clubs before, it will be interesting to see if Everton stick to their guns or capitulate to the big money of Chelsea.
