According to sources at Sky Sports Chelsea has now become the latest club to throw their hat in the ring for Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling.
Sky is reporting that the Blues are monitoring the situation at Anfield closely, but that manager Jose Mourinho is not prepared to meet Liverpool’s £50 million valuation of the 20-year-old.
Manchester City last week make a bid of £25 million which Liverpool immediately rejected and are said to be preparing a second bid of £40 million but along with Chelsea and Liverpool would not comment further.
