According to his agent Chilean midfielder Charles Aranguiz would like to leave his current club Internacional of Brazil this summer and move to the English Premiership where he is firmly on the radar of both Chelsea and Arsenal.
Meanwhile French Ligue one side Marseille has already submitted a bill, but the 26-year-old has his heart set on the Premiership after seeing what success his international teammate Alexis Sanchez has achieved since joining Arsenal.
‘Aranguiz prefers the Premier League,’ said Cesar Behling, one of the player’s representatives.
‘But Marseille and Ligue 1 also have a great reputation and can’t be ruled out.’
Aranguiz is valued at £16million by Internacional, and while he would be great for many Premiership clubs it is hard to imagine where he would fit in at Arsenal or Chelsea, unless Wenger and Mourinho have plans for some of their other players.
