Chelsea would appear to be closing in on Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez’s Chilean international teammate Charles Aranguiz after having watched the central midfielder guide Chile to the Copa America crown.
Aranguiz has been tipped with a move to Europe from his current club Brazil’s Internacional with reports in France saying Marseille has made am approach for the 26-year-old only to be told he has already agreed to sign for Chelsea.
This so far unknown development first surfaced in the local South of France press, with the comments that Marseille were hugely disappointed with developments.
Aranguiz has been valued at £16.1million by his Brazilian club Internacional, so now we will have to wait and see how this story pans out.
