Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was just talking about the clubs need for a new left-back following the departure of Filipe Luis back to Spain, where the Brazilian defender will re-join his former club Atletico Madrid following a disappointing first season in the Premiership after having been forced to play second fiddle to Mourinho’s first choice left-back, Spaniard César Azpilicueta.

Talk over Augsburg’s Ghanaian international speedster Baba Rahman has taken up plenty of space in the papers recently, and now the 21-year-olds agent Sascha Empacher has revealed that his client has agreed terms to join Chelsea, but the two clubs are still to settle on a transfer fee.

“It is only the clubs that have to find an agreement,” Empacher told Sport Bild. “We on our side are agreed.”

Kicker previously reported that Augsburg wanted €25 million for Rahman.
