French champions Paris Saint-Germain have not included the Uruguayan striker in their winter training camp in Morocco which could point to a January exit from the club.
Along with Cavani, Liverpool striker target, Argentinian Ezequiel Lavezzi is also missing from the list of players traveling to Marrakech.
A statement on the clubs website read: “Javier Pastore re-joins his teammates this afternoon, while Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi resume training back in Paris.”
Team manager Laurent Blanc has accepted the fact that Cavani will move on and plans to use the expected £50 million to bolster his team knowing that he will be free from the constraints of Financial Fair Play.
