Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has appeared to have made a dramatic decision as to the future of right-back Carl Jenkinson.
After having spent the entire season on loan at West Ham it was assumed by everyone that the 23-year-old was finished at the Emirates and that West Ham United would make his move to Upton Park a permanent one this summer.
Recently Wenger supposedly said he was free to join West Ham if he wished to do so as there were limited opportunities for him to develop his career at Arsenal.
However now speaking ahead of Mondays match with Swansea the 65-year-old Frenchman appears to have changed his mind saying: “The decision is now whether to bring him back now or give him one more year on loan.”
