It would appear as though Chelsea has landed the next big name to come out of Brazil in 19-year-old Atletico Paranaense attacking midfield star Nathan.
The young Brazilian got the world’s attention following the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup, and while Brazil only made it to the quarter-finals Nathan managed to score five goals.
The youngster apparently had telephone conversations with Eden Hazard, Oscar, Willian and Diego Costa which suggests a deal is close while also tweeting ‘Very happy!!! In London to sign my contract with Chelsea and take tests.’
Nathan will be able to link up with fellow Brazilians, Willian, Ramires, Filipe Luis and Oscar as well as Diego Costa, who is also from Brazil but holds a Spanish passport.
