Brazilian winger Wellington Silva has revealed that he will finally be able to join up with Arsenal next summer after having to spend the last four seasons out on loan due to work permit issues.

The 22-year-old joined the Gunners from Brazilian side Fluminense, but the FA rejected Arsenals application for a work permit leaving the Gunners to send him out on loan in Spain where he has played for Levante, Alcoyano, Ponferradina, Murcia and Almeria while trying to obtain permission to play in the U.K.

Silva is now able to join Arsenal in the summer and is aiming to get a place in Wenger’s first team squad.

He told Sambafoot.com: “It’s a dream for me to play there. Arsenal is a great club.

“Unfortunately this was not possible because of these administrative concerns. But I think I’m ready now, I learned a lot in Spain. Including playing without the ball.
