According to reports Arsenal are still trying to land Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani, and are desperate to bring him to north London despite interest from other clubs, including London rivals Chelsea.
The French Ligue 1 Champions want to keep hold if the 28-year-old, but the recent terrorist attacks in the French capital have him concerned about his safety which Fichajes say plays to Arsenals advantage.
Meanwhile there are reports that Chelsea is going to send Colombian international striker Radamel Falcao back to Monaco in January, and with Diego Costa and Loic Remy both struggling to find the back of the net Roman Abramovich could easily decide to temp the Uruguayan international to choose Stamford Bridge over the Emirates.
