It would appear that Olivier Giroud’s days at the Emirates are coming to an end if you believe reports in yesterday’s Sun newspaper in which they say that the French striker no longer plays a part in manager Arsene Wenger’s plans after he was dropped for the semi-final of the FA Cup against Wigan with Wenger preferring to play Yaya Sanogo instead.

The 27-year-old former Montpellier player did however come off the bench to score for Arsenal in the penalty shootout which now sees the Gunners take on Hull City in the final.

Despite the fact that Giroud remains Arsenals top scorer with 19 goals the British tabloid claims that Wenger is still angry over two breaches of discipline one of which was being caught with American model Celia Kay in his hotel room before a match.

Following the Frenchman’s indiscretion and his apology via Twitter there were reports that his wife gave him an ultimatum about moving back to France which could now appear to be very much on the cards with Wenger hoping to get around £17 million for him.
