Manchester United have completed their first signing of the summer, three months before the summer transfer window opens officially according to a report by daily star. Daily star who are also citing highly reliable Portuguese media outlet A Bola as their source are claiming a deal is now in place for the 18-year-old star to move to Old Trafford this summer. The youngster who has also been linked with a move to Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Barca is said to have a release clause of £63m in his contract which Manchester United have agreed to trigger.

According to the report, United has agreed to per £40 millio upfront which has been accepted by Benfica. The rest of the payment will be spread over the period of four years according to the report. The report also claimed the club is talking to the agents of the player and will hope they can reach an agreement on personal terms as soon as possible.

Should Renato Sanches join Manchester United, he would be expected to be the long term replacement for Michael Carrick who if reports in the British press are correct will be allowed to leave the club this summer.
