Karim Benzema will not be leaving Madrid this summer to play for Arsenal says the French international’s agent, despite an increase in attention from Arsene Wenger’s club.
“We cannot fight against the rumours, but I assure you Karim will not go to Arsenal,” Karim Djaziri told French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche.
“There has never been any discussions and no contact has been established.”
Arsenal are yet to make a signing this summer, and have been linked with the 25-year-old Benzema and his teammate Argentinian, Angel Di Maria in a possible move to the Emirates.
