According to reports coming out of Italy Napoli Manager Rafa Benitez is tracking Manchester City midfielder Javi Garcia.
Benitez is known to want to sign a central midfielder in January and with the Spanish international not being a regular in Manuel Pellegrini’s team he thinks that the likelihood of regular football under a Spanish manager while playing along with his international teammates Pepe Reina and Raul Albiol could persuade Garcia to leave the Etihad.
Manchester City signed the 26-year-old last season from Benfica for £17 million, yet has found it tough going at City with Pellegrini preferring to play Fernandinho and Yaya Toure in central midfield.
