Bayern Munich BEATS Premiership clubs to £28m Midfielder

Up until now Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal was being heavily linked with a move to Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester United, but it turns out the Premiership trio could all miss out on the Chilean international after a £28 million deal was struck between the Italian champions and Bayern Munich according to the ever reliable Gianluca Di Marzio.

After Manchester United completed the signing of Bastian Schweinsteiger over the weekend the Bavarians immediately contacted Juventus and a deal was quickly agreed upon by both clubs.

The 28-year-old is no stranger to the Bundesliga after having played for Bayer Leverkusen when he first arrived in Europe from Chilean club Colo Colo in 2007.

Currently Pep Guardiola is on their pre-season tour of China where they will play Valencia, Inter Milan and Guangzhou Evergrande over the next 7 days.
