Barcelona winger Adama Traore has snubbed interest in some of the Premierships big clubs in order to join Aston Villa for 10€ million with certain add-ons that could see the final price rise to 12€ million for the 19-year-old.

What could have also played a part in some of the EPL larger teams to drop their interest in the young Spaniard is the fact that Barcelona insisted that a three-year-buyback clause be inserted into Traore’s contract guaranteeing the Nou Camp club to be able to bring him back to Spain should he prove himself in what is arguably the world’s toughest league.

For their part Villa was quick to announce Traore’s arrival on twitter with the following tweet:
