Barcelona tell Manchester United not to try and Bargain for Star Winger

Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu has laid all his cards on the table telling Manchester United that if they want to sign Spanish international Pedro they must pay his full release clause of £22 million, and that there is no bargaining to be done over the deal.

Basically the Catalan giants are saying to the Red Devils, that’s the price take it or leave it.

Manchester United boss is said to be highly interested in the 27-year-old seeing as less than a half priced replacement for Argentinian Angel Di Maria, who appears to be very close to sealing a £45 million move to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

When talking about the interest in Pedro from Manchester United the Barcelona chief said: ‘Manchester United are going to be one of the top clubs this year, I’m sure.’

‘But if someone wants to sign one of our players then the release clause must be met.

‘And, so far no-one has made an offer, so we are calm. We want to keep our squad together and Pedro is an important member of that squad.’
