Manchester United

After only a few months at the club following his move from Chelsea, Spanish international midfielder Juan Mata could be on his way to Barcelona for £40 million as both clubs make major changes this summer.

According to the Sunday Express reports in Spanish sports newspaper AS claim that new Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is ready to go after Mata if United’s new Dutch manager Louis van Gaal will sanction a deal.

The ex-Bayern Munich manager and now boss of the Dutch national team is known to favour playing just one midfield playmaker behind a striker, and currently looking at Manchester United the obvious choice is Wayne Rooney to play behind Robin van Persie.

The sale of Mata would also allow van Gaal to go after Robben and perhaps another wide man Liverpool target Yevhen Konoplyanka as van Gaal puts his new look Manchester United together.
