Italy striker Mario Balotelli threatened to walk off the pitch if he suffers racist abuse in Ukraine and Poland.

Baloteilli warned don't walk off the pitch over racism taunts

But Platini warned the Manchester City star he would be BOOKED if he did that.

The Frenchman said: “It’s a yellow card. We’d certainly support the referee if he decided to stop the game. It’s not a player, Mr Balotelli, who’s in charge of refereeing. It’s the referee who takes these decisions.

“So the referee has been given advice and he can stop the game if there are problems.

“We will stop the game if there are problems because racism is the worst of this.”

Balotelli, 21, threatened to ‘kill’ anyone who dares to throw a banana at him, leaving him on a collision course with Platini.

The Italian said: “I will not accept racism at all. If someone throws a banana at me I will go to jail because I will kill them.”
