According to Italian sports publication Gazetta dello Sport Italian Serie A side AS Roma has opened talks with Manchester City in an effort to bring Bosnian international Edin Dzeko to the Italian capital.
The 29-year-old striker has been tipped to leave the Etihad this summer after falling down Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini’s pecking order, and with the Chilean looking to sign several young players to the team this summer others will have to leave to make way.
Roma official Walter Sabatini told the Italian paper: “Dzeko ? He’s not so close, but he’s a player we are trying to sign.”
