NURI SAHIN was last night urged to stall on a move to Liverpool — by Arsenal.
The Turkish Real Madrid midfielder was due to complete a one-year loan to Anfield deal yesterday.
But Sahin, 23, was asked to delay a decision by the Gunners, who still believe they could end up selling Alex Song to Barcelona for £15million.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is determined to beat Liverpool’s offer to Real if Barca push ahead with the Song deal.
Wenger hopes the lure of Champions League football will persuade ex-Dortmund star Sahin to snub Liverpool.
