Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere told TalkSport that England striker Wayne Rooney didn’t look like he had been injured after his display while training for today’s England v Scotland friendly at Wembley.
The want to get away Manchester United striker has only played briefly in one match during United’s pre-season friendlies with reports linking him to Chelsea.
The Arsenal midfielder was very impressed with Rooney during training saying that he looks fit as a fiddle hardly someone who is recovering from a shoulder injury.
“He’s the same Wayne Rooney,” Wilshere said. “Half an hour before training he’s out there playing jokes on everyone. He’s happy in himself and he’s performing in training.
“It looks like he hasn’t been injured at all. He’s been firing the goals in and he looks sharp. I’m sure he’ll be looking to get some minutes on the pitch.”
