Arsenal turns their attention to Miroslav Klose

According to the Independent Arsenal has failed in their deadline day deal to sign Lille striker Salomon Kalou.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is known to be a fan of the Ivorian footballer who previously played six years in the Premiership for Chelsea where he made 251 appearances for the Blues while scoring 40 goals.
Apparently Lille is not listening to loan moves but would be willing to let the 28-year-old striker leave if the Gunners would be willing to pay what they consider a fair price, and with numerous outlets reporting that Arsenal has had a bid rejected Arsenal Wenger is now said to be concentrating on Lazio striker Miroslav Klose.
The former German international is now 35-years-old but still possess the type of finishing skills that the Gunners could rely on as they continue to battle for the Premiership title.
