According to the website METRO Arsenal has already started work on plans to bring Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani to the Emirates in January after manager Arsene Wenger gave his approval for the move over the weekend.
The Gunners have been tracking the Uruguayan international for some time aware that he may not be happy playing second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimović with the French champions.
Should Arsenal be successful with their pursuit Cavani would be their most expensive player of all time.
