During last summer’s transfer window Arsenal along with rivals Manchester City made enquiries to Real Madrid as to the availability of Spanish international attacking midfielder Isco with both clubs being told that he was not for sale.

The Daily Express is reporting that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is prepared to try again in January with an offer of £40 million, and while City is also still interested Wenger is prepared to do battle with the Qatari backed team.

Have a look at this wonderful goal he scored for Spain against Belarus just last weekend, and you will see why Wenger is so keen to bring him to the Emirates.
