Arsenal has been told they can go after Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling after the Merseyside club has reportedly said that they would be willing to let the England international leave.

The Gunners became involved in the race for Sterling this week after having learnt about the youngster’s refusal to sign a new contract at Anfield.

Liverpool still remains hopeful that a solution can be found, but reports now say that the 20-year-old is not afraid to move clubs and that Liverpool are willing to listen to offers.

For his part Sterling wants to secure a giant salary, and Liverpool having already offered what is said to be a massive £100,000 per-week falls short of the player’s expectations opening the door for Arsenal to step in.
