Arsenal has reportedly put a bid on the table rumoured to be around £30 million for Argentinian striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger knows that in order to challenger for the Premiership title next season he needs to strengthen the team with quality, which includes some serious competition for French international Olivier Giroud.

One name being mentioned as a possible candidate was Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema who would be available for a similar price.

Meanwhile Higuain is looking to leave his current club Napoli at the end of the season and ticks all the boxes for Arsene Wenger, who knows that if he can convince the 27-year-old to move to the Emirates he will have one of the world’s deadliest finishers on-board for next season’s campaign.

According to Fichajes.net the Gunners could face stiff competition from Atletico Madrid and Juventus for the former Real Madrid striker’s signature.
