Arsenal

We all know that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is eager to reinforce his striking options as was seen during the summer when he tried to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Real Madrid, and then Luis Suarez from Liverpool.

The only true big name striker that could be available in January is Real Madrid’s French international Karim Benzema, but Arsenal would face still opposition from Chelsea with Jose Mourinho also looking for a forward.

Arsenals best bet, and it is one that would suit the ever careful Wenger is to sign Juventus striker Fernando Llorente who has been mostly sat on the bench since joining the Italians from Athletic Bilbao during the summer.

Llorente is playing second fiddle to Carlos Tevez at Juventus who only ever play one striker, and with it being a World Cup year the 28-year-old would jump at the chance to move to Arsenal even if it was only on loan just to get the playing time.

This is a solution that would suit both clubs and also provide Wenger with more time to sign a permanent striker during the summer.
