Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revived his interest in Paris Saint Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot after failing to have agreed a transfer fee with the French champions during the summer.

According to the Daily Mirror Arsenal had never given up hope of signing the 19-year-old who is out of contract next summer, but may now face competition from Serie A side AS Roma who are also interested in the U-21 prospect.

Meanwhile PSG are trying to tie Rabiot down to a new contract by offering to give home grown players more playing time and are worried that if they are unable to get him to sign a new contract he will leave in the summer, which opens up the door for Arsenal to get a deal done in January.
