Just last year there was not a day gone by when you did not hear the words Julian Draxler and Arsenal used together in the same sentence.
At the time you felt that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger would do whatever it would take to get the Schalke youngster top move to the Emirates, yet hear we are a year later and this is the first we are hearing about the 21-year-old German winger and it has nothing to do with Arsenal.
Now according to his agent Roger Wittmann the once impossible to sign Draxler has agreed terms to join Italian champions Juventus and will soon be on his way to Turin.
“We are at a point where only Juventus and Schalke must come to a deal,” Wittmann told Goal.
Draxler will earn €3.7million per season with Juventus and a deal between the two clubs is expected to be reached in the coming days.
It will be interesting to hear Arsene Wenger’s thought’s on this deal!
