Arsenal goalkeeping target Samir Handanovic is quite happy to stay at Inter Milan where he has been one of the few bright spots in what for the Italian club has been a very mixed season according to his agent.

In fact it has been the 29-year-old Slovenians performance that sparked Arsenals interest to sign him as a replacement for Lukasz Fabianski.

His agent Claudia Pastorello told CalcioMercato that Handanovic is happy at the San Siro and that he will not push for a move to Arsenal.

“Samir is now very happy with his situation at Inter, he has two more years left on his contract, and can’t imagine leaving Inter at this moment.

“Normally, what will happen is that with one year left you would sit down with the club and come to some sort of arrangement.

“Right now though, it’s too early to say what will happen.”
