According to Sky Italia Italian goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is on his way to the Emirates for a medical, after which he is expected to sign for the Gunners as a back-up for number one keeper Wojciech Szczęsny.
The 27-year-old keeper currently plays for Italian Serie B side Palermo, and is expected to sign for Arsenal on a season long loan with an option to buy should he impress while playing for Arsenal.
