Arsenal striker target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has dismissed rumours linking him with a move to Arsenal, by insisting that he is quite happy to remain in the Bundesliga playing for Borussia Dortmund.
The 26-year-old Gabonese international is also being talked about as a possible summer signing for French champions Paris Saint-Germain, yet after having scored in a 2-0 friendly win over Juventus on Saturday Aubameyang said he was not going anywhere.
“You can take it for granted that I am not going to waste any time thinking about giving up how happy I am at Borussia, in the city of Dortmund and with this team,” he told the Welt am Sonntag newspaper.
“Dortmund have won the title twice in the last five years, we reached a Champions League final and had Real Madrid on the brink of elimination in the group stage when they went on to win it. If I didn’t believe that I could win titles with Dortmund, then I wouldn’t be here.”
