Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck will now miss the clubs pre-season tour of Asia after suffering yet another set-back in his recovery from a knee injury.
The England international has been out of action since April missing the Gunners historic FA Cup triumph due to the bruising of a bone within his knee.
The 24-year-old former Manchester United striker has not yet started his pre-season training and an exact date for his return is still unknown, but hope remains that he will be fit to play in the Emirates Cup at the end of the month.
