Arsenal summer transfer target Karim Benzema has been arrested over his possible involvement in an alleged blackmail sex tape scandal involving France team-mate Mathieu Valbuena.
According to AFP the 27-year-old Real Madrid striker reported to a police station in Paris this morning and was placed in custody.
Just last month former Liverpool forward Djibril Cisse was questioned and later released, while three other men were arrested for trying to extort money from Valbuena in order for them to hand over the alleged video.
