Arsenals German international forward Lukas Podolski has laughed off all talk of him being a possible Tottenham target during the January transfer window saying according to talkSPORT “hell will freeze over” before he would consider a move to Arsenals north London rivals.
The German World Cup winning striker has yet to start a Premier League game for the Gunners this season adding to the speculation that a January move may be on the cards despite manager Arsene Wenger insisting that the 29-year-old is still all part of his long-term plan.
When posting a link to the rumour on Twitter Podolski added the tweet: “Hell will freeze over before this transfer would happen. #Poldi #aha #AlwaysAGunner #NeverCheatYourClub #AFC #Redarmy”.
