Just a couple of days ago it appeared as if Jackson Martinez had decided to choose AC Milan over Arsenal, but all bets are now off with rumours suggesting AC Milan are asking Porto to lower their £25 million asking fee, and that the Portuguese club refuses to budge.
This all comes about after reports in the Italian press claim that a deal was done, but the 28-year-old who is representing Colombia in the Copa America looked to distance himself from Milan saying: I’m as close to Milan as I am to other clubs,” he told Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
“I will decide my future in the next few days.”
Arsenal it appears is still in with a shot, so that is great news for Gooners who would love to see Martinez at the Emirates next season.
