Well it would appear as though Arsene Wenger has managed to free-up £100,000 per-week from the clubs wage bill, with German international Lukas Podolski looking all set to join Turkish giants Galatasaray for a fee believed to be around £2.5 million.
“We had very good talks with Wenger,” Podolski’s agent Nassim Touihri told Bild.
“He wanted to keep Lukas, but couldn’t give him a guarantee that he will be starter. That’s why we agreed on a transfer.”
