It is well known that former editor of the Sun and CNN show host Piers Morgan is not a fan of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, yet has taken his dislike of the Frenchman one step further this time saying that the Gunners boss lied about an injury to No.1 goalkeeper Petr Cech so that he could give Colombian international David Ospina a game.
Before the match, Wenger said: ‘Ospina has done well and Cech had a slight calf problem before Leicester so it’s an easy decision.’
After the 3-2 loss at home, however, Morgan tweeted: ‘Wenger dropped our No1 goalkeeper. Cech’s NOT injured. (I know this.) Wenger lied. #WengerOut.”
