Arsenal No.2 goalkeeper David Ospina will ask for a January transfer if manager Arsene Wenger drops him for Arsenal upcoming Champions League match with Bayern Munich.

The Colombian international has started in both of Arsenal’s Champions League losses to Dianamo Zagreb and Olympiacos, putting pressure on Gunners boss Arsene Wenger to drop the 27-year-old in favour of summer signing Petr Cech.

According to British daily tabloid The Sun, Wenger told Ospina at the start of the season that he would play in the clubs cup completions after being dropped for incoming Chelsea ace Petr Cech, who is now regarded as the clubs No.1 goalkeeper.

Ospina did himself no favours dropping the ball in his own net during the 3-2 loss to Olympiacos and now given the fans fury has Wenger thinking about going against his promise, and playing Cech in what for Arsenal is a make or break game against Bayern Munich.
