Arsenal’s list of players side-lined with injury shows no signs of slowing down after defender Laurent Koscielny was sent home with an Achilles problem which is not serious but thought to be precautionary by the French authorities.

Koscielny’s scare comes on the back of the news that German international midfielder Mesut Özil now faces up to three-months out with knee ligament damage.

This adds to manager Arsene Wenger’s woes already being without Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta who have both suffered injuries in recent weeks, while Mathieu Debuchy and Olivier Giroud are both expected to be out until after Christmas.
