Arsenal is preparing a raid on French champions Paris Saint-Germain for Yohan Cabaye
The midfielder has been granted permission to leave the Parc des Princes this summer, and according to Le 10 Sport Arsene Wenger wants to bring him to the Emirates.
Cabaye joined PSG from Newcastle back in January of 2014 for £19 million and has endured a difficult time in Paris, never really claiming his spot in Laurent Blanc’s team.
‘This is a unique moment in my career, I have never experienced this,’ said Cabaye.
‘I’ll talk with the coach, with my officials and then with the club.
‘It’s going to be a very important decision.’
Cabaye was excellent while at Newcastle United, and if he can regain that type of form linked with his premiership experience has could prove to be a very astute buy.
