Arsenal or Manchester City has already agreed to sign £50m Liverpool Forward

Former Liverpool manager Roy Evans believes a deal must already be in place to sell Raheem Sterling to either Manchester City or Arsenal following a Liverpool spending spree that has seen the Reds sign Danny Ings, Roberto Firmino, and Joe Gomez and soon to be announced Nathaniel Clyne for £12.5 million.

He told the Weekend Sports Breakfast: “If you look at the transfer market and the way it has been with the amount of players Liverpool have bought, [Raheem Sterling’s sale] must be in the equation.

“I don’t think they would be spending the amount of money they have if they didn’t think Raheem Sterling was already a done deal to somewhere.”
