According to Barcelona based sports newspaper SPORT Arsenal is making overtures to Catalan giant Barcelona as to the availability of defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets.
The 27-year-old Spanish international is high-up on a short list of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger summer transfer targets he believes he needs in order to win the Premiership title.
According to the Barcelona tabloid, Wenger feels that the vastly experienced Busquets would be a class above Francis Coquelin and could go a long way in achieving his goal of winning the English Premiership.
Whether or not Barcelona would be interested in selling such a high value player remains to be seen, but you would be hard pressed to find an Arsenal fan who would not like to see the Spanish enforcer move from the Nou Camp to north London.
